We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you contact us (through our quote form, by phone, or by email), we collect the details you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, suburb, and the cleaning service you are asking about. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and arrange the service you requested.
Automatically collected information: like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. This helps us keep the site secure and working properly.
Cookies: our site may use a small number of cookies for essential functions (such as remembering form entries and site security). We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To respond to quote requests and enquiries
- To schedule and deliver the cleaning services you book
- To keep our website secure and functioning
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to handle your request and meet any legal record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Under New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020, you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. To make a request, email info@housecleaningservicedunedin.com or call +64 283 555 66.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above.

Paste notes (when applying):
- Paste into /privacy-policy-2/ as the full page content (replacing all "Suggested text:" blocks).
- Rank Math → Advanced → Robots Meta → set Noindex (utility page, per SEO plan).
- After pasting, the "-2" slug can stay — do NOT change the slug (footer already links to it).
